Pupils aged 14-18 can enter stories of up to 1000 words to the BBC Young Writers’ Award. Your story can be on any topic and the deadline is Friday the 29th of April. Visit the library for more details.
The winning writer will have their story broadcast on Radio 1 and will receive a mentoring session with an author. All 5 shortlisted writers will be given a tour of the BBC Broadcasting House and will have the chance to meet authors, publishers, agents and broadcasters as well as having their stories published on the BookTrust and BBC Arts websites and receive a copy of the BBC National Short Story Award 2016.
